the Egyptionary is a graphic hieroglyphs-english dictionary, i.e. you click the egyptian word signs, and the Egyptionary translate it into english.
based on Gardiner's Egyptian Grammar and Faulkner's Concise dictionary for middle egyptian, the egyptionary contains, right now, 116 values. soon there will be more (a lot more)

by the way, if you click for alphabetic signs in the egyptionary, and the popped window is empty, click in the window with the mouse right button and choose "reload" in netscape, or "refresh" in explorer. then it'll be o.k.

so just click the magic words...

they are taken from the hieroglyphica site.

The word values (i.e., the translations) are taken mainly from sir A. H. gardiner's Egyptian Grammar (3rd edition) published by the Griffith Institute in the Ashmolean Museum, UK.
